The glass was wrapped in two blankets then sandwiched between two pieces of shelving material and all secured with packing tape. It rode on the truck's back seat floor board. The table rode upside down on a cushion of carpet, surrounded by 1 1/2" foam in the bed of the truck. The family was very happy. The table is at home in the family room on a white tiled floor.
