Thanks guys. I really appreciate your kind words.

The holes in the wrong side of the doors were just one of a long list of self inflicted wounds on this project. I'm VERY glad it's DONE and out of the shop.

Terrific job,Gene. I like the fix on the doors and good thinking on the pulls. Boy there is a lot of work in that jewel chest. The ripply grain on the maple really stands out. That dark stop on the door panels sets off the maple too.

Good job, I get to the same point on projects where it is done ,on to the next thing. You got the rifle cases coming up, anxious to see those.

Appreciate it, Herb. I'm anxious to get started on those cases, too.

I'll document this one, like Steve does. Well, since it'll be a prototype to begin with, maybe not all that extensive.

This experimental piece will likely be walnut. Might as well use the good stuff. That way, if it turns out nice, I'll have a nice box .... for something long.:D And, if it's a bust, I won't have wasted my precious Mesquite.
