Dadio
You are a real artist, DAB, good job on the recreation of the picture in wood. Looking forward to the posting of the final results. Herb
DAB
both items just from a pic. they aren't perfect, but for a first attempt, they aren't bad. not sure what to finish the little one with yet. still need to find a piece of drift wood/rustic wood for a base for the large ray. recipient said to send a bill.....i have no idea how i'd price this. i did it for fun and for the challenge it presented, as i'm between larger projects. figured if it didn't turn out, it's just scrap wood (C/D ply i had laying around) that i could burn. hint to aspiring woodworkers: learn how to work from a picture. that's the same way i built our coffee table last year. from a pic in a catalog. likewise the sofa table, from a picture i saw. I don't think I've ever built anything from a plan. A picture or two, a rough sketch with dimensions, and Bob's yer uncle! John
