Thad
Thanks. I've been needing a good block plane. I think that one will clean up nicely. Grandpadave52, Gunny, FlGatorwood and 1 other

You sir hit the Estate Sale Lotto today...That little block plane appears to be a Stanley 102...very desirable and for $2 you should (should I say) feel some remorse....you'll need to clean the top portion of the iron (blade) for markings. I only recently learned one I had marked 102 has an Eclipse name on the iron but it's identical to my Stanley 102 otherwise. The Handyman egg-beater drill in the original box is a GREAT find...I assume it has the bits inside the handle (unscrew the red knob)? The X-Acto set is amazing...new condition as is the drill. Not quite as grumpy now, are ya'? Edited March 31, 2019 by Grandpadave52 FlGatorwood, p_toad, Gunny and 3 others 2
Gunny
Nice find, all I have found lately is an old file rusted to the inside of a trunk of a car that had no seal on the truck. Didn't even take a picture. Like who wants to see rust and corrosion?? HARO50, Grandpadave52, Thad and 2 others 1 1

Not quite as grumpy now, are ya'? I sure did. The block plane is indeed a Stanley 102 and the rust is very light with no pitting. Should clean up nicely. Yes, the drill bits are in the handle of the Handyman and the X-acto set is complete and very lightly used. I forgot to mention the three pipe clamps for five bucks each that already have the pipes attached, two two footers and and a six footer. Popular Post Al B
I was able to get out to the shop and set up my new Laguna spindle sander. Didn't get a chance to take photos but will do that soon. I did decide to use the stand Laguna provided. I listed my old BOSS sander on Craigslist for $125.00 and had several replies the same day. Maybe it was under priced. Someone was happy taking it home. Artie, Grandpadave52, FlGatorwood and 5 others

Mijohnson1984
In these case probably a 1 1/4. There was more then one nasty warp in the pile if I can keep it around 1 1/2 I’ll be happy, but I have a feeling that won’t happen p_toad, Cal and FlGatorwood

Mijohnson1984
Lol better insulated is all it really adds up too. But honestly 1inch is a good goal for the thickness. But no less then 3/4, the hives start having issues with controlling the temperature. That and when they winter the hives (I think that’s what it’s called) the hive could freeze if it’s too then.
