Raining now and supposed to rain for the next 3 days. None of my weather speculating sources hazard guesses as to expected amounts.

Highs holding steady in the low to mid 60s. Overnight lows in the mid to high 30s. Snow? Maybe but it won't stay long. But, plenty of mud.

We have had one of the earliest snows in years. The leaves are still on the trees and we got 6" of snow. It was 21 when I got up. If you saw the Broncos game, they showed some of it. Fortunately the streets and roads here were still warm and all was melted within a few hours. However no so fast in others areas. Interstates were closed and accidents abounded. I'm sure this storm caught many without snow tires in the mountains. I stayed in near the fireplace.

we might have gotten a foot total in the last week or so...

but like you said ground temps are up and we have the periodic day or two of warm so it doesn't last..

I still suspect Haro and Gramps as a bad influence but something tells they have a silent partner or two in all this...

I think we've had a tad over 3" of rain in the last week. Yesterday, we got around an inch. The washes were running deep and fast. Had an 8 AM appt. in town. Had to reschedule. One guy was already stuck in the wash we have to cross to get to a paved surface. I'll try again today.

Who We Are

Operation Ward 57 Challenge Coin Display Project

We are a woodworking community with an emphasis on sharing and learning the skilled craft of woodworking and all of its related disciplines. Our community is open to everyone who wishes to join us. We support our American veterans and active duty, being a veteran is not a prerequisite to join. Join us now!

Objective

Air Force Command Center Plaque

Of course just like most online woodworking communities we are centralized in the arts, crafts, and trades that are woodworking. But, we have another focus in our Patriot Woodworker community, we are the only woodworking community that was founded on our care and concern for our disabled veterans.

Volunteer

Patriot Woodworker Volunteers

The Patriot Woodworkers are an all volunteer community, from the staff and hosts who run our online woodworking community to the members who frequent our forums, you'll find volunteers in all of us. We are not on a payroll, unless you consider the spiritual rewards gained from volunteering, as compensation.

Education

Logging

One of the many projects we are working on is a wiki for our online community. A wiki is a great way for woodworkers and enthusiasts to share their knowledge to others, and to impart their knowledge for others to learn from, and utilize as well for their own benefit. We hope you'll consider being a wiki contributor.
