John Moody
Working as steady as I can to get ready for the Craft show season. First Friday in March is the kick off here although I am not sure the weather is going to cooperate since it is out doors. Got the first batch of large boards out of the clamps and another batch in the clamps last night. Now it is on to the drum sander to get them flat and ready. And the Beat goes on, and the Beat goes on.... Courtland

John Moody
I know they look horrible with the excess glue on them.
Cliff
do you scrape them before the sander?
John Moody
I do, then use a belt sander before I run them through the drum sander.
John Hechel
I'll take all of them John Is $5.00 each offering too much? just kidding. The flattening process is the part I don't care to do as much but it really lets you see how good of a job you've done John Moody

Fred Wilson
John - do I understand this right - - - - after you have glued up long cutting boards you then have to cut them ? ? ? ? ?
John Moody
There are two glue ups Fred. You glue them first into long strips and then cut them the thickness of the board, turn them on their end and flip every other one and then glue them back together. The picture above is the second glue up. Now they have to be sanded flat and smooth.
