Hartville Hardware

Recommended Posts

Went to my favorite store and came home $225.00 richer in the tool cache.  Noticed while there that this Friday & Saturday is one on their big sale days.  No affiliation, just saying.

Visiting that place is very high on my list of things to do. Thanks for the heads up, maybe it will be next week.

Thanks Dan...Like Fred said, someplace I'd like to visit at least once...

With the link though, I subscribed to some of their email lists.

Not the same as being there but will have to do.

I've heard alot about Hartville Hardware turning demonstrations but have never made it.

I'm about 3 and 1/2 hours away. Maybe some day I'll get their.

My estimate is that it's about 3x the footprint of the usual big box (HD, Lowe's, Menards).   Large selection of power tools.  If you can go during one of their "shows" it is as good or better than the traveling woodworking shows.

There's also an Amish/Mennonite--style restaurant next door, and in the summer, a flea market out back.

One of my daughters used to live about 45 minutes away from there and I'd occasionally sneak out while visiting.   Then she moved back to Cincinnati.   I might have to make a side trip when I make a trip back to NE Ohio to my 50th HS reunion next year.

Just got my first email circular today...Impressive

Even more so when I saw they are a full-line John Deere CP (Consumer Products) Dealer...they wouldn't have that contract if they weren't doing things right I guarantee you!

Some day I wanna' make that trip. Looks like one best pack a lunch and get a room for a couple nights to see it all...

Like the Disneyland of Hardware Stores!
