By the look of the cut,I think they used a handsaw to make it, or maybe they had to change the BS blade part way through. Smallpatch
Every time we go west I make it a point to drive through the red woods. Those trees are unbelievable. I have read when the trees needs moisture they can make it rain... We had been roaming around seeing the sights one time and the last stop before heading home was Mount Rushmore. Since that didn't take as long as we had planed I told the wife and kids we gonna head back to the redwoods one more time then go home...Kids was not too happy but wife said good for I can take more pictures. Funny for lots of folks living in California and are wood workers have never been through the redwoods. I wonder if John Morris, no , never mind... Bigger trees I've never seen. We saw a logging truck hauling just one log. It was so big that there were wide load escorts.
