My dad had a scar on his chin from being pulled down snow covered highway on an upside down old Buick hood though:D

We just grabbed the bumper and slid on our boots until we fell.  Here is Casey Neistat doing it in NYC.  He has some other good videos.

Used to make a chain of sleds pulled by a buddy's PU...no ropes, just grab the sled in front and hold on. The first guy got the tire spray and bumpers were higher, back then.
