HandyDan
I use a tine from an old bamboo leaf rake. That would be special. HARO50
lew
Sometimes I resemble an old bear using the nearest door frame! https://media.giphy.com/media/ot2wrNTY362tO/giphy.gif Edited December 22, 2017 by lew

Ron Pemberton
I made a handle for this back scratcher made on an expandable rod. I made this quite awhile back and my memory doesn't go back over 6 months. I probably got it from PSI, Craft Supply's or some catalog like that. I had a bamboo back scratcher but it was too sharp. Smallpatch
This one is wife's favorite. And you do need a hole in it so it can be hung up for easier finding when needed and out of the way when not needed. Harry Brink
Now your bringing back memories. Growing up (early 50s) my grandpa would use the nearest door frame to fix the itch. I find myself doing the same be cause I can't find where I left the one I bought. Cal, Grandpadave52 and HARO50
hatuffej
The best back scratcher for me is a long-handled scrub brush I use in the shower. The first scratch awakens dozens more, and I get them all! Feels great! Dadio and HARO50
p_toad
I keep telling people in the restore that the grill cleaning brush is a backscratcher, but so far nobody is buying it. Grandpadave52, LarryS and HARO50

PostalTom
I had an excellent back scratcher once. Unfortunately, my wife wouldn't let me bring her home. HARO50, Grandpadave52, LarryS and 1 other

DAB
good news: she got it, and she loves it. had to point out via email that it will stand on end, the end where my brand is (she hadn't see that either, initial reaction was "he didn't brand it"). so made her day. she said "where's the bill?" um... i didn't include one. postage was $8+, the box was free (reused an amazon box). so send me what you think is right. lumber was scrap, that was given to me, so really free. and it took about an hour of creative time to make it up. a nice challenge on a quiet day. had to tell her though, that making one was fun, but making dozens would not be fun. then i'd have to change the design so i could make them in bulk. and that sounds like work. pass. so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to her and everyone else that didn't get a backscratcher from me (that would be everyone else in the world). unique item there sweetie, don't break it.
