All done!! Small patch I just have one question, do you 220 it THEN wax it or just use the wax as a last coat?
Smallpatch
Mike what are you spraying? If it is lacquer, let dry then Johnson's paste wax with 0000 steel wool. It will make it as slick as a baby's behind....that is, if the behind is not wet, if so, change that diaper! Then if you decide you want more coats Johnsons won't interfere with the lacquer. DRAGON1
I've got clear enamel on it now. I'm gonna buff it down with scotchbrite pad then use some butcher block wax. Terri Littlefield Miller
Smallpatch
Suit yourself. I've been using 0000 steel wool for over 60 years so I know what it will do!
HandyDan
Excellent bowl. I like the holes for the yarn. Often thought of making one with brass grommets. Never gave a thought to a lid but that really makes it extra special.
