kmealy
Local woodworking guru, Chris Schwarz, has been writing a series of blog articles on workbench personalities. If you don't know Chris, he's the former executive editor of Popular Woodworking Magazine. About 14 years ago he left to pursue his own passions. Among them are researching traditional techniques, hand-tooling, tool chests, work benches, campaign furniture. He continues to teach, research, publish, write, and produce furniture. He's also been on The Woodwright's Shop. Warning: Don't be drinking coffee when you read these. Gene Howe
Glad I'd finished my coffee. I've read a number of articles by Chris. Enjoyed every one. He's a very caustically humorous author. Thanks for posting these. Link to comment

Probably in one of the two upcoming blogs, that haven't been published yet...I suspect, that, both of those are the subject of the articles, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the articles doesn't include a photo of you! Fred W. Hargis Jr
I'd bet the "MDF guy" will show up. Schwarz can be really funny.....I especially enjoy watching him with Underhill (who is funny in his own right). Link to comment

Gene Howe
Geeze, I had no idea people were so totally obsessed with work bench design. Reading Chris' entertaining blog makes it apparent that there's an unmet need for bench builder psychotherapy. Link to comment

Sounds exactly like MY previous bench. It cost me nothing, which was just barely within my budget. And it served a purpose for about 44 years! But it's time for a change. John Link to comment
