Popular Post John Moody
Where has this year gone? Wow, here we are the first day of December. Sorry I️ have been a bit absent the past few weeks but we have been hustling to finish inventory for a large three day show. To make things even harder, last Friday I threw my back out and pinched a nerve in my leg making it numb from my hip to my knee. My wife and two sons took over and helped finish up an order and projects we needed for the show. I’m upright now but the leg is still numb and the back is tender. We are setup and doing well at the show. Covered cost the first morning so now we are in the black the rest of the way. We will finish up at 5:00 pm Saturday. Sunday we are going to take a little down time and get ready to finish up Christmas orders. So no shop time but show time this weekend. What’s on your agenda? We love to hear about and see all the wonderful projects. Tell us about your weekend plans as you ready for Christmas. Popular Post Chips N Dust
I am hoping I can get into the shop and hang some lights at some point this weekend. I think I will wear this shirt starting when I get home tonight and see if the wife gets the hint: I will let you know if it works Grandpadave52, Cal, HARO50 and 3 others

Popular Post Grandpadave52
John, Glad to hear you're upright and some what mobile again. I "swear" 'I didn't step on a crack to break your back.' At least that's the story I'm going with... Early morning swim transportation today, then took my Step-father to his monthly eye appointment for injection #133...little over 11 years he's been doing this on what started as an experimental treatment for macular degeneration...At almost 91, he is the nation's medical "poster child" as the longest successful treated patient..Since June '17 when the doctor tried a new medicine, significant improvement has occurred. After, late lunch, couple errands, then PU'd one from swim practice and the other later tonight after the basket-ball game. Tomorrow transport the girls early to catch their bus for an away Saturday double-dual meet...Back to PU my Step-father, meet my brother then on to attend a Memorial Remembrance Service for Mom (and others) conducted by the Funeral Home. Sunday, church, quick lunch, then attend the Christmas Parade in our county seat. Oldest grandson's Cub Scout troop is marching in the parade. They'll be pushing shopping carts throughout the route collecting can & dry box goods for distribution to local Food Pantry's. Last, hope to complete reading the latest book draft from TPW's very own author, Doc @olbuck. Then the hard work begins. Dadio
John, that is awesome, you make my back ache just thinking about doing that much work. Everything is beautiful, hope you have a good sale, make the customers load the stuff out, save your back. Popular Post Gerald
John I do not know how you do it. Have 2 more bell ornaments to finish for Christmas and then to get some small things ready for a demo Thursday and Friday at the MS Ag Museum. Tomorrow night and Sunday is Christmas musical at church and I have security. Man this retirement is definitely not for sissys.
