lew Posted October 16, 2017 Report Share Posted October 16, 2017 Cool! When I taught Electronics, at the Vo-Tech, I needed a way to impress the dangers of electrical shock. Took 2 16d nails and drove them thru a board. Soldered some hookup wire to each nail and added a plug to the other end. Bent the nails to face each other. Stick a hot dog between the nails. Plug it it. Sparks, smoke and juices! They got the idea of what electricity is capable of doing! Two of my former students now teach at that school and still use the "Hot Dog Cooker" for demonstrations. Link to comment
