Popular Post skelly
Here is a plaque I made for a Marine buddy who recently retired from the Navy Reserve. Made from walnut. We served on active duty together in the Marines in the late '70s. He retired from the Navy reserve and I retired from the Army National Guard. Never know where life will take you. beltramidave
Very nice detail. Well done! What did you use for the black coloring? Nice and crisp. Edited August 8, 2017 by beltramidave

I used a 30 degree engraving bit for the detailed carvings and used black acrylic paint to fill. I brushed the paint into the carvings and wiped away the excess. Thanks for the kind words.
