"America's freedoms are no more assured now than they were then. And her minutemen and sentinels must every day choose to fight for an uncertain future, as their forbears did so many years ago, not knowing what may happen, but knowing it was the right thing to do."

As I read these words, and realize how many of our younger generation have fought and given their lives to protect our freedom, I see so many who seem to believe the country owes them something.  I was 10 years old when WW11 began, and I saw how the men and women of our nation responded. I would hope the same response would occur if it ever becomes necessary again.
