RJH30518
Has anyone used General Finishes Satin UV Cure Urethane? I was talking to a chemist, and he was putting a UV curable finish on his floor -- saying that it was harder and better than a polyurethane finish. So, I was looking into such a finish for cabinets -- and found the General Finishes one. I have not found anything about the UV light needed for curing, and in general, I was wondering if anyone had any real life experience with it. Fred W. Hargis Jr
I was following a thread about this stuff elsewhere, and it seems that GF isn't real clear about exactly what light you need. There is a website that specializes in UV curing apparatus (big surprise), and it's not exactly cheap stuff. I'm guessing GF sees this as something for the finishing pro market, we mere mortals have to figure it out on our own. I would like to try it, since UV cured finishes are generally more durable than most. Cal
