NO PUSH STICKS GIT AWAY FROM BLADE

I would just warn that I had a new carbide router bit ruined recently when it grazed into some sandpaper I'd glued down to keep the block from slipping.  I'd prefer to see something else, like shelf liner.   I don't want to ruin my Forrest WWII blade.

Don't think a nick on the sandpaper will significantly affect a carbide tipped blade. Maybe a router bit because of it's thinner carbide at the cutting edge. At any rate, the cost of a blade sharpening pales compared to the cost of a possible hospital visit.
