Popular Post Steve Krumanaker Posted February 23, 2017 Popular Post Report Share Posted February 23, 2017 Although it's only been about five weeks, moisture meter said it was ready to finish so I did. It was in a heated space and I think that made a big difference as far as drying time. Main thing is, it did not crack or split. A LOT of sanding on this one, have to work on getting cleaner cuts on these for sure. Anyway, I'm very happy with how it turned out. It was just over 19" when I took it off the lathe and it's just 18" diameter now. A pretty consistent 1/2" thick top to bottom. It's almost too big for my little photo booth. Here's looking ya' kid!
