Popular Post Steve Krumanaker
Said he had some "goodies" for me. All cherry with some really nice crotch pieces. Just when I thought I was done roughing bowls for awhile Always a conundrum when I get cherry, do I make bowls or brisket? He left with a nice walnut natural edge bowl and some beers but I think I got the best deal! Steve DuckSoup, Fred W. Grandpadave52
Sweet...good nephew...since you mentioned last you're running out of bowl queue area, I think it is permissible under Indiana law to smoke at least one or two briskets using some of this wood... Anyways, you've got to keep your strength up while checking all of bowls drying in bags... Of course we either get to see the bowls or share in the brisket or maybe both Chips N Dust, p_toad, Steve Krumanaker and 1 other
HandyDan
Definitely the brisket can be done with the scraps from roughing out the bowls. HARO50 and kmealy

I can see some nice ones hiding in that pile That was my thought too Gerald, in fact, I spent some time in a buddies shop a couple weeks ago. He's pretty good at hollow forms. That, and I'm going out to my brother's house tomorrow to start fabbing my hollowing rig. He has a couple metal lathes and a mill. Should be able to go 18-20" deep here in a week or two. Just ordered a six inch face plate from craft supply and am designing a steady rest in my head. Should be good to go in a couple weeks.
