PeteM
If you find something for scorpions let us know. I'd like to encourage them to concentrate where I can find them. Dadio

steamshovel
I have owls around my place and I could go on and on about what a great bird they are. One circles overhead of my pasture at different times of the night circling and letting out an occasional screech to scare up a mouse or whatever. All will go quiet and about 1/2 hour or so the owl is back for more food. I don't think my owl would fit in the 3/4 " hole in the one box and I don't think one of the ducks that hangs around would fit into a 4' hole in the other box shown, now maybe if they went on a diet it may be possible. Stomping mostly. Actually, answered my own question, found it this morn: put something flat on the ground such as a trash barrel, or a hand truck. They like that. Killed 3; one of them a 1.5" sucker. Stomp makes me feel good all over.

Gene Howe
Pete, to locate them, a portable black light makes them shine at night. In Florence, our sons collected them that way to feed their pet rattlesnakes.
