Cooled to about 4-5 degrees below our average of 88-89 for this time of year. Looking that way through the weekend. Smoke from the fire is going around us or not falling to the valley floor - very nice!

Cloudy here this am, supposed to clear off by afternoon. Now they are forecasting temps in the high 70's, low 80's for the weekend. Looks like a nice weekend without all the heat we normally get.

"0" visibility here early AM due to fog. Currently 69* with real feel of 78 with humidity @100% and > 2mph breeze. It is MUGGY & STICKY yet again. Rained off/on yesterday with scattered t-storms today, tonight and early on Saturday, then we're SUPPOSED to get some cooler and drier weather. I hope so...this heat & humidity is starting to wear thin.

Per Indy news, as of yesterday we've already surpassed total 90*+ days (40) of previous three summers combined. It's been hard to do anything outside most of the summer even early AM/late PM.

Edit add: BTW congrats Stick & the Manningless Denver (Broncos) for repeat win last night...good way to start 2016-17 NFL...now if everyone would honor the playing of the National Anthem...

Supposed to be on the mid 90's next couple of days, then cool down back to normal mid 80's.

10:12 PM EST...Well just came through two Tornado Warnings unscathed. Heavy rain, some small hail and heavy wind gusts and a lot of lightening but the worst appears to have missed us to the North a couple miles. No confirmed touchdowns in our county thus far. The same front had produced confirmed, on the ground tornadoes near Danville, IL which is ~35 mile West. We remain under a Tornado Watch until 2 AM EST Saturday. The cell continues to maintain strength as it heads East North East. Be aware and prepared Ron D and Steve K.

Wave 2 rolled through just now...nasty lightening in this one...gusty winds but not as severe as the front headed your way Ron. Hopefully it will lose steam by the time it gets there and off into North Central Ohio. Better than the EF-2 that hit the other side of the county a couple weeks ago though.

I really hope you guys make it through those storms unscathed.  I just had a go-round with lightening and the lightening always comes out the winner.

Supposed to be 88 degrees with 70% humidity.  Right now it is 72 degrees with 94% humidity.  Work up a sweat just thinking about it.

Still going to be a good day.  This is the day my brother and I get together for a BS session and then go to lunch.  My sister joins us for lunch when she can.
