Tabs on the Weather...

Low 40's yesterday, been dropping all morning. Now at the freezing point, rain turning to ice, wind must be at warp speed! Glad I don't have to go out any time soon!

We ended up getting a little ice. Not bad though. And maybe a 1" of snow.

It is now 24° and very light snow.

Freezing rain this morning (like the ground wasn't already soaked from the melted snow) and the followed with sleet/frozen stuff.   Haven't heard the weather prevaricators call it graupel (and i'm not an expert like they are?).   colder now so i went out to put out some bird seed, peanuts, etc. for the critters and they're all out and chowing down.   car started up fine and windows only took a few minutes to clear.   gotta love me some winter.

60's here and raining .Flood warnings because of heavy rain and melting snow till afternoon tomorrow. Then a rapid drop in temperatures into the 20's with freezing rain before clearing. Patriots game will be cold and wet.

Just got back in from springing (PUN intended) the truck from the Transmission ICU. Several places were one lane or less due to the blowing & drifting...glad I had 4WD.

Experienced some white out conditions again from wind...pavement pretty much snow/ice packed and mostly frozen now. Very light snowfall...current 23o falling to low of 12o

Forecast for next 10 days is back to sub-zero temps and no line of sight for 30o days.

Far too long until spring

Snowing now; looks like a couple of inches of new stuff.   Good winds (maybe); sounded like another tree just came crashing down.   Should be interesting to see in the morning.:o

Russian aliens in control...

I suspect they've got the earth spinning backward and we just don't it?

Of course in Indiana we're know for experiencing all 4 seasons although usually in the same week vs the same day.

Spring is just around the corner. But, that corner is a few miles away and I'm walking.

It's 20* and the forecast has been revised. Only 55 for the high today and, the 60s have disappeared for the foreseeable future. No snow, though.

In a blizzard direction is obscured so it won't be so bad.

Got up to 5-6 inches of the white stuff.  It is only 10° right now so I will wait to see if it will warm up a little before I go out and plow it.  No rush.
