PostalTom
Is there a section of the site dedicated to woodworking clubs? A place where various clubs could showcase their projects and community activities might inspire and encourage other clubs to undertake similar activities. Just a thought

John Morris
Dear folks, at this time, in order to implement a clubs section of our site, would require some funding. We will have to wait a bit before we can allocate this type of funding to this project. We do have a way to achieve this! But for now we are going to have to shelf it till later this year. Please do not consider this suggestion closed, it is not! This is an excellent idea, and it will be implemented, we'll just need a little time is all, thank you! PostalTom
John, were you able to make any progress on this? Not pushing, just wondering.
John Morris
Tom, coincidentally, what I have been waiting for has happened. In our next full version software upgrade, our developers have installed a clubs and organizations feature pre-built into the core of the software. In other words, it'll be included, and we don't need to pay extra for the feature to be developed. We are only awaiting for the next version of our software to exit Beta testing and be released as a long term support version, it should happen anytime soon, very soon, thanks for bringing this back up! John Morris
Last night I got a chance to check out the new clubs part of the core software coming up soon. You guys will love it. Some of the key points of this application are: Create your own club Within club, create club project gallery, create club forum, create club blogs, basically everything that is available outside of the club on this software, can be built, by you, within the club. Ability to admin your own club Ability to assign moderators to your club Ability to accept or deny membership to your club (great for keeping out spammers) And much more.
