Veriatas Mk II honing guide....does a NICE job.....final hone with 50,000mesh diamond sure leaves a nice edge on plane irons-my Stanley 9 1/2 block plane has never cut like this before............now to get motivated to work on some more challenge coin holders!!!

Short project...hopefully pics tomorrow.....needed something to show off a patch from he boy's aircraft carrier.....a piece of zebrawood later and I'm almost done.  Had heard horror stories about the smell of zebrawood being worked...nice thing about having a degree in chemistry and 33 years in labs----the smell didn't bother me (guess the nose isn't what it used to be)!!!!

Thank you all for the great welcome...you'll have to forgive my lapses in response.  Between my paying job and my admin role on the other site, I don't get a chance to voyage over here as much as I'd like!  So please bear with me and understand if I don't get a chance to root around the site as much as I'd like!
