Just as a caution to your friend with the (ceiling?) fans you have made the pulls for....   the plastic switches now use in most fans are not very sturdy and extra weight/strenuous pulling with break the switches (circled in this picture).   I take apart ceiling fans with alarming regularity at our local Restore (we have WAAAAY too many to sell used and a lot of new ones on the floor to sell).   we pull the copper windings out to sell the copper.

     

    Those are really nice looking and I hope they like them.

      They used to be (way back when they were made in a certain country that wasn't spelled "china". :angry: )  The old were at least pot metal (zinc or related) and held up seemingly forever (probably not good for repair sales, but you knew it was better quality).   I have quite a collection of lamp and certain fan parts i save (the one lady there says i'm a hoarder - whatever that is).  :throbbinghead:
