Hello, my name is John Morris, founder and creator of The Patriot Woodworker and I am very glad to have you aboard with us! Please sit back and enjoy our forum and community.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me here.
I look forward to seeing you on our forum, please share your work and life experiences with the rest of our community, when we all participate on our forum, we are all better woodworkers because of it!
Thank you for joining us.
I have been woodworking for over 30 years in one way or another. My father taught me initially from his little one car garage slot in a neighbors home that he leased out. We built many things from recycled lumber, so I guess you could say we were building from recycled lumber in the late 70's before it became the "Green thing to do". We would scour our alleys for pallets, tree trimmings, and anything made from wood and just make cool stuff.
Woodworking is my first love in the arts and trades, but I am a land surveyor by day. I am a husband, a dad of 3, and I am very happy to be here at The Patriot Woodworker, thanks for visiting my profile.
As in most families, music is a pretty big deal in our home, and in our workshop, if you were to walk into my shop at any given time that I am in there, you'd be sure to hear something similar to this bellowing out from my speakers.
Below is my family, and we welcome you here to our community.
Note, this is not our home, it's the home of our friends The Scott Family, I just love this image is all.
We are a woodworking community with an emphasis on sharing and learning the skilled craft of woodworking and all of its related disciplines. Our community is open to everyone who wishes to join us. We support our veterans and active duty both here in the United States and in Canada, being a veteran is not a prerequisite to join. So please, join us! Please click on Join The Patriot Woodworker's.
We support MWTCA, preserving tools and implements from the past.
