Image Uploading Suggestions
We appreciate your help in keeping our image gallery orderly and easy for others to research.
Please consider these suggestions while uploading your images.
- Name your images before uploading to our gallery, the generic camera file names just look so messy. "Walnut Desk" looks so much better than "DSC19467je69.jpg". You can also name your images after you upload them to our gallery for your convenience.
- After uploading your images, please consider adding a description so your viewers know what they are seeing and the wood used, the tools used, or even your inspiration for building the project.
- Please consider tagging your images so our members and guests will be able to successfully search for your image and related images. Tags can be inserted into the "Tags" field. An example of tags and their names should be related to your project. If your project images are of a Walnut Desk with dovetail joinery, than tag the image with "Walnut", "Desk", "Dovetail" etc.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Cherry Rocker
This fun project was my first rocking chair, I am hooked on chairs after this experience. I'd really like to encourage anyone who wants to build chairs, to follow your dreams, it's not that hard, and with some great mentoring by the many chair makers out there, you can do it. Thanks for looking!
For design and instructions on building this rocker please visit our friend Hal Taylor .

Old English Plate Shelf
The images in this album are an attempt to build a scaled version of an original plate shelf that our customer wanted. He printed an image of the original and let us do a take off on the image, scaled and modified to accommodate his old pewter molds that he collects.
The shelf is made of Curly Maple purchased from woodworker and lumber supplier http://www.bobkloes.com/. His lumber is some of the best to be found in North America.
I had a wonderful time building this replica, with modern tools and hand tools, these are the projects I look forward too.

18th Century Connecticut Blanket Chest
This is a chest I made based on an American Woodworker issue that contained the plans to build this chest.
The chest in the issue is a reproduction of the actual chest made by John Wheeler Geer in the 18th century. To see the actual plan set in the American Woodworker issue go to Connecticut Blanket Chest .
